Students will create a mixed media 8”x 10” piece of original artwork that can ultimately be framed. During this class students will dye their own base paper/ towel paper, apply a salt dough ornament, and embellishments, using collage techniques on foam board. Supplies included are foam board, paper towels, a salt dough ornament, dye coloring, and random embellishment/collage materials and directions in addition to a virtual presentation. Participants are encouraged to bring their own embellishments or base paper. Use your creativity and build on what is provided with your own items for the finished piece. Class will take at least two days to fully complete. This is an in-person class that will meet at Greentown Public Library on March 22nd and 24th from 6-8 pm. Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited to 12.
